Welcome to Stockholm Liver Week

We invite you to join us on February 8-11, 2012 in Stockholm for Stockholm Liver Week.

The annual postgraduate course in clinical hepatology endorsed by EASL

2012 we are extending our warm invitation also to international colleagues. The official meeting language will be English and we hope to provide a North European course alternative to all interested in the wide spectrum of hepatobiliary disease.

The main theme for 2012 is integrative, multidisciplinary hepatology which reflects the modern networking that is necessary in the growing and increasingly complex management of liver diseases.
The program intends to reflect medical, surgical and diagnostic aspects, considering both adult and pediatric patients. The organizing faculty consists of members from adult and pediatric hepatology, transplant and hepatobiliary surgery, anesthesiology and infectious diseases at Karolinska University Hospital.

All speakers will be invited international and national experts.

Parallel to the main program on Wednesday through Friday, two half day sessions are arranged in Swedish by and for nurses.
On Wednesday and Thursday evening, outside the main program, you are also welcome to join us for industry sponsored satellite symposia

The Liver Week will start on Tuesday with Swedish Hepatitis Day, an optional full day program sponsored by MSD with a varied program related to viral hepatitis.

Register for all session or, if time away from your practice is a concern, join us for the sessions that best suit you.
The registration fee for the main (Wednesday to Friday) program includes a syllabus, lunches and break refreshments.

The MD fee is SEK 900 for one day or SEK 2000 for three days.
The fee for the Swedish speaking non-MD program is SEK 600 for one day and SEK 1200 for all three days.

We hope to see you in February for several days of lectures, discussions, networking and meetings at the Stockholm Liver Week 2012.
